Beneficiaries preparing domestic Bio-pesticides
The affected area due to the storm disaster victim families were benifited by the multiple activities in this quater. Such as early winter nursery preparation , plantation of fruit sapling such as Lemon, Litchi, Avocardo etc. For the preparation of early winter nursery they were using better technology for the better production and marketing. Due to the early winter vegetable product they used to get higher prices in market. For the control of vegetable's pest and disease the beneficiaries get training for the preparation of domestic Bio-pesticedes.
The beneficiaries received skill enhancement training, capacity building and backstopping support for the production and marketing of vegetables. So that they are able to produce off-season vegetables catering better market price. So that their income increased and maintain better livelihood of the families. Childens get nutritious food with good education.
At the end they thanked o GlobalGiving and MRC Nepal.

Beneficiaries getting support of corn seed
The reporting period of February 2023 to April 2023, the people who were greatly affected by storm disaster were provided support in multiple income generating activities to sustain their livelihood in the area of fruit and vegetable. Such supports are fruit sapling and corn and grass seed, training, marketing of vegetables, support on training on the production of the different vegetables, etc. In this regards MRC Nepal always provided the affected victims the required help such as capacity building training, moral support to help them in continuing their lives in a positive way.
These supports help affected people to maintain their livelihood that was cmpletely destroyed by the storm. The affected people are able to grow vegetables ans fruits to consume and to sell them in the nearby market for income. The affected people are also provided facilities such as materials to renovate home, clothes and even the children are provided education of pro marginal peple who were badly affected by the storm. MRC Nepal and GLOBAL GIVING support provided them al necessities which help them to raise their income to maintain their daily activities. Thanks to GLOBAL GIVING and MRC Nepal.

Growing vegetables for income and consumption
The Victim Families affected by Storms also followed by COVID-19 pandemic have been suffering day to day livelihood because of terminating employment from the cities. they are now organized in group and supported with income generating agriculture such as high value vegetable production technologies.They receive the high value market potential quality seeds,micronutrients and capacity building skill enhancement training. as a result,these beneficiaries are capable of earning vegetable products in market and gaining attractive income from the selling of vegetables.
Now the beneficiaries improve their livelihood through the vegetable farming as an entreprise development . The vegetable business become entreprise for earning income and employment both and beneficiaries are so happy with these support and they thank to GLOBAL GIVING and MRC Nepal both for supporting these genuine business.
