Dear Friend,
We are happy to share the story of little Anu from a small rural and tribal village in southern Rajasthan, who is now healthy and smiling again.
When we first met Anu, she was just 2 years old but weighed only 5.1 kg. She was very weak, had boils on her body, and had stopped eating. Her parents were worried but afraid to go to the hospital. Seva Mandir’s community worker kept visiting and gently talking to them until they agreed to take her for treatment.
Anu was first taken to the local health centre and then to the district hospital. She spent 3 days in the ICU and 10 days in the Malnutrition Treatment Centre. After she returned home, our worker continued to visit, guiding the family on food and care, and helped them get extra rations.
Today, Anu weighs 7.4 kg and is active and happy. Her parents are deeply relieved.
This was possible because you cared. Your support helps children like Anu get the urgent care they need to survive and grow. Your modest donation of $135 will support one CMAM (Community Based Management of Acute Malnutrition) Camp, helping 10 children get life-saving treatment.
Thank you for making this difference.
With gratitude,
Team Seva Mandir
