Three months may seem like a short time, but with your support, we’ve made lasting footprints—both in the soil of Africa’s wild spaces and in the hearts of the next generation.
Thanks to your generosity, our team has continued its mission to protect Africa’s most vulnerable species—not just through direct action, but by planting the seeds of awareness and passion in young minds. This quarter, we were able to expand our conservation education work by visiting local schools, running interactive lessons, and providing much-needed materials and books focused on wildlife and the environment.
It’s difficult to describe the wonder in a child’s eyes the first time they learn that the animals living just miles from their homes—elephants, lions, rhinos—are endangered, and that their future is in human hands. What’s even more powerful is seeing that moment shift from curiosity to responsibility.
And then, something even more magical happened.
This quarter, we funded visits for two schools to experience a local wildlife reserve. For many of the children, it was the first time they had ever seen these magnificent animals outside of textbooks or drawings. Standing just meters away from a zebra, or watching a giraffe stride across the landscape, transformed their understanding. These animals were no longer distant symbols—they were real, living beings, sharing the same land, needing the same protection.
One student said, “Oh wow. I want to help look after them.”
That moment—that spark—is why we do this. Because these children are not only the future of their communities. They are the future of conservation.
We want to inspire rangers, protectors, storytellers, and guardians. And we also want to reach the children who may not work in wildlife, but who will grow up understanding why it must be protected. This is how we change the narrative—not just for one generation, but for many to come.
Your donation is more than a gift. It is a commitment to coexistence, to awareness, and to possibility. You are helping us show young people that they are part of something powerful, and that their actions—like yours—can make a difference.
As we look ahead, we wanted to share one final update. GlobalGiving will be hosting Bonus Day from 10:00 AM EDT on July 16 to 10:00 AM EDT on July 17. During this 24-hour window, one-time donations of $100 or more will be partially matched by GlobalGiving’s additional funding pool. If you feel inspired to share our project during this time, it’s a wonderful opportunity to help us reach even more hearts and minds.
Thank you for walking this path with us. Together, we’re not just protecting wildlife—we’re building a future where it can thrive.
