On Saturday, 17th May, DHL Global Forwarding sponsored the SAYes Mentoring sports day kick off event held at SOS Children's Villages.
This incredible partnership showcases DHL Global Forwarding's commitment to "connecting people and improving lives"-so much fun and joy was had by all the youth attending and we cannot wait to witness the power of mentorship in their lives as we kick off our 2025 CYCC mentorship programme.

A massive thank you to Mayuri Sindraj (Skills Development & Engagement Manager ZA) and Nisa Ebrahim (Global Head for Cargo Insurance & Risk Management) for the partnership and Nisa, for attending the event and inspiring the youth.

Nisa says : "Mentorship Magic is transforming lives, one conversation at a time. This is my Super Power!" Nisa felt the event was a heartfelt and energetic day,
Mayuri said that "We at DHL are always honoured to make such "moments that matter" happen"

SAYes Mentoring held the online launch event for the third edition of the PowerUp e-Mentorship Programme. We were really pleased to have 77 people join us - a mix of mentees and mentors.

PowerUp is a collaboration between Nike and SAYes Mentoring, which connects trained and supported Nike employees across EMEA with young people in the UK and South Africa. This year, 60 mentor/mentee pairs will be working together in weekly mentoring conversations to help the mentees make better decisions towards independence and well being.

The energy at the launch was incredible and it’s clear there’s real commitment from both mentors and mentees. We're really looking forward to seeing how these relationships grow and what the rest of the year brings!
