Humanity First Association Kumba (HUFAC-CAMEROON) is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support it has received for its project "Educate an Orphan for a Year in Kumba, Cameroon" on the GlobalGiving platform. With a funding goal of $10,000, the organization is thrilled to have received $49 in donations so far, a testament to the generosity of its supporters.
As the project continues to gain momentum, HUFAC-CAMEROON is excited to announce a special initiative for the 2024 back-to-school season. In addition to providing education for orphaned children, the organization will be offering free computer classes to all program participants. This revolutionary step will not only enhance the learning experience but also empower these young individuals with essential digital skills, preparing them for a future filled with endless possibilities.
To mark the successful completion of the program, HUFAC-CAMEROON will be organizing a grand event on July 31st, 2024, where it will distribute school materials such as pens, pencils, books, and bags to the participating orphans. This gesture is not only a celebration of the program's achievements but also a tangible way to demonstrate the organization's commitment to the holistic development of these children, ensuring they have the tools they need to thrive in their educational pursuits.
