Dear PFK Friends,
We are excited to share that we are in the midst of planning our mission trip to Myanmar! We will be supporting 750 children this year, all around the Yangon region.
All of our children live in orphan homes and monastic nunneries, or come from highly impoverished families. Our gifts of backpacks filled with school supplies and the mandated school uniform, allow our kids to attend school with everything they need to learn and thrive. We know that education is the only solution to ending the cycle of poverty...and changes the trajectory of a child's life, and for generations to come.
Our team is working hard to make next month's mission trip a highly successful one!
Safety is our number one priority and great caution is being taken to ensure our team is safe as we bring our gifts to our kids.
We look forward to reporting back and sharing photos of the kids recieving their school supplies. Stay tuned!
