Send 120 Children to School In Ghana For a Year

Through your continuous support, our team was able to visit the four communities on our target list namely; Ahomahomasu, Besebuom, Osunu Dompe, and Tafi Mador on November 29th, December 3rd, 4th, and 5th 2020 to officially launch the "Send a Child to School" initiative. As part of the project launch, we were able to provide sensitization on COVID-19 and the importance of education with the help of our volunteer nurses and public health workers to more than 1,000 community members. We also distributed over 900 books and more than 475 masks to 475 children and gave masks to more than 125 (adult) community members.

The Send a Child to School initiative aims to support 120 pupils with logistics such as books, uniforms, shoes, school bags, pens, pencils, erasers, masks, etc. to enroll or continue their schooling.

Currently, we are competing to become a permanent partner with GlobalGiving, but in order to obtain a permanent partnership, we must raise at least $5000 USD from 40 unique donors by December 31st, 2020. If we meet this threshold, we will be permanently featured on GlobalGiving’s website, where we have the potential to benefit from corporate relationships, exposure to a new donor network, and access to dozens of online fundraising tools. If we do not secure the position, we will receive the funds we raised and may try again at a later date.  Currently, we have 7 donors and $265 USD raised and therefore need your support to help us achieve our goal.
