Send 100 Girls to school in Nepal

Imagine a world where every girl can follow her dreams. In Nepal, thanks to our scholarship program in collaboration with GlobalGiving, this world is becoming real for 83 out of 100 young women. Many of these girls once saw education as something far away blocked by financial problems, social pressures, limited opportunities and silent barriers. Our program changes that. We not only pay for school fees and supplies, but also provide mentorship, guidance and emotional support. We help them build confidence, strength and hope, so they can study and chase their dreams without fear. Each scholarship we give breaks the cycle of poverty and gender inequality. It gives girls the chance to become independent, strong leaders who can make a positive difference in their families, communities and in Nepal as a whole.

Recently, young people across Nepal, many of whom are the digital-native generation, including young women came together in the Gen Z protests. They stood up against corruption, injustice and restrictions on freedom of expression. They demanded that the promise of a fairer society include everyone girls and young women included. Through their activism, they made visible the idea that young voices matter, that change is possible, and that futures must be open to all. Our scholarship initiative aligns with that spirit of change. We believe that when young women are educated and empowered, they become part of the reform-wave the same wave that the Gen Z movement helped ignite. When girls receive education, they gain the ability to question old norms, to speak up, to lead just as the youth protesters did when they said: “Our future is not for sale.
