SEND A CHILD TO SCHOOL

Our high school children are now in one place. Starting 1 October 2025, the children should be at a premise where the Ministry of Education and the City Council must come and inspect and approve.

The primary school sponsor a child for school campaign continues, and they are all at a semi-rural Salvation Army primary school.

EDUCATION and SPONSORSHIP

Due to the non-availability of a functional high school in the areas we serve, we decided it was best to run our own high school. This is quite involving as we need a vetted rented premise to use as a school.

Such a premise has been identified; we can’t share the pictures until an actual paid lease has been signed.

We need the period from 1 October to 31 December 2025 for the Ministry of Education process to be carried out for licensing purposes, together with the City council commercial permit, and we can run a certified school for the orphaned and vulnerable children from 1 January 2026 onwards.

Qualified teachers are in plenty supply, and we have conducted interviews already, but first we need to raise $1 500 to secure a premise for the school.

We have 12 high scholars on our books. The number is likely to increase in 2025 when we take on some of the ones in primary school.

Besides securing the premises, we need a reliable more of transport to take them to and from school. Initially, we are appealing to anyone with a good second-hand minibus they can offer us.

If that doesn’t work, we seek to raise at least $10 000.00 to purchase one and put it to use for transportation purposes..

The primary school children are all local, and there is no need for transport. We need to continue to pay school fees to the school, and the fees for this term are due.

We are grateful for the support we have been getting to enable us to keep the children in school. And we continue to crave for your help and involvement in making this program a success and something that can help 100s of children in the future.

We will continue to work on our model to make it cost-effective, but an effective learning centre for the children.

CONCLUSION

The hunger to learn in these children has continued to motivate us to do all we can to raise champions out of difficult backgrounds and circumstances that these children hail from.

Your continued support has ensured we continue to find it easier to work on our objective of creating a sustainable education model for the children, including introducing a day care centre to capture them young and train them for the disciplines of life.
