Solar Energy Light in the Life of Rural People

Women & Children needs solar lights during night at their village level during rain & floods

As AHD Pakistan working in rural areas and targeting most poor and deserving rural poor communities to enable them to get access to light at their village/household level. AHD successfully helped 230 village with solar panels and women and children enjoy the light in night, AHD plans to reach more families and enable them to get access to light at the night at their household level.  

We hope we will be able to reach 450 families more during their quarter if handsome support comes to this project.

Solar lights at village level needed to equip rural poor communities with light in the nighttime they can cook or work and enjoy the time to have light in their life.

Need arrives Solar light in rural villages where women and children facing disaster in their lives.

Pakistan is one of the developing country where disaster continue for rural coastal belt areas. Since 1999 cyclone rural families / residents did not get smooth to sustainable finance and economic sustainability. AHD female team helping local women of costal area facing problem of health and food, literacy and economic as they have solar light in their houses, AHD team trained no of village-based organizations and these organization now taking control of their villagers to help them to adopt skills and solutions and now somehow skilled women able to support their families. Many income generation activities in the village like fruit, vegetables, livestock, and small shops and all done in evening and solar lights help them.

AHD want to help solar light in other dry regions, villages needed more support and their families / women in trouble of poverty and many more crisis.
