We are excited to be raising funds for two new health clinic water systems, our first in Mali. With your help, health clinics in the villages of Bamabougou and Ferme de M’Pessoba will gain access to running water in the treatment and exam rooms before the end of the year. In addition to ensuring that health care practitioners can follow best practices with regard to hygiene and sanitation, patients receiving treatment at the clinics and women coming to deliver their babies will no longer have to bring their own water for drinking and bathing. When these mechanized, solar-powered water systems are installed, the local residents also gain access to a tapstand in the clinic courtyard. The courtyard tapstands include four taps and provide ample water for all of the village households.
We are close to fully funding both of these water projects, and we would be so grateful for any support you can provide to help us reach our goal.
Thank you, as always, for your compassion in action!
