Dear All:
Greetings. I hope you're all doing well and enjoying excellent health.
I regret to report that while we have had success at in-person events and on our website, we have been unable to make significant progress on GlobalGiving. We are always hopeful that will change, because the needs are great, and we know the GlobalGiving community is generous.
The population of the school for which we would like to build this lab has steadily increased since our partnership with them began. Our goal, therefore, is ever-more-vital, as now hundreds of children would benefit from access to twenty-first century technology. If GlobalGiving donors are successful in helping to fund this project, we will raise the school’s computer literacy rate from 0% to 100%, as we have done in three other schools in the same region. We would be thrilled to extend this same access to this worthy school.
Any child without technology exposure early and without mastery later will struggle to succeed in university, college, or technical school and to find a career commensurate with twenty-first century advancements.
Thank you for doing what you can to ensure that the children at a rural primary school in South Africa get the access they deserve, and please share the project link with family, friends, and colleagues to fuel even more hope.
