Great news!
Looks like we are back in business this year with two clinics definitely on the table!
The first clinic is to be held on the 21st May in Malkerns in central Eswatini, and the second on the 25th June at Ngonini, in the north. This is all subject to COVID still being under control and the supply of drugs being available to us.
We are really excited about this and hope we can cope with the day’s events, as we are now a bit ‘out of practice’. Going over the old clinic lists is quite motivating and Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA's AWARE students are looking forward to being a part of the action too. The preparation is quite hectic as we have to re-learn how to pack the drape sets etc. and ensure all our equipment is in good order.
We will start the pre-registration programme around the 10th May, with school visits and also to the Dip Tanks, where the communities meet weekly to dip their cattle, goats and dogs.
We would be grateful if you would consider a monthly donation towards this project. Your ongoing support will mean that we can continue to visit rural areas where Spay/Neuter and general welfare education are urgently needed. This is the only humane solution to stop the uncontrolled breeding of cats and dogs and their unnecessary suffering.
We appreciate the support you already give and hope our next report will be full of photos of the clinics!
