This project will aim at supporting 5 children with disabilities to complete school by providing them school fees, scholarstic materials like books, pens, laptops, and their basic needs like matresses, bedsheets and blankets. Your support will enable them complete school and become teachers, doctors and lawyers.
We have identified 5 children with disabilities who want to drop out of school. We have a project that promotes the education of children with disabilities where we give them scholastic materials at primary and lower secondary levels. We have faced a challenge where children who complete lower level fail to join upper secondary levels & universities because they lack school fees, scholastic materials and beddings. This has led to school drop outs resulting to desperacy & lack of a clear future
MPWDA provides scholastic materials to learners with disabilities, trains them in life skills for peer to peer support, provides assistive devices and also provides mentorship sessions.
The project shall support 5 learners with disabilities to continue with their education, enable them get good jobs and become responsible and independent people. It will also provide for their wellbeing as well as for their parents/caretakers and siblings
