Sponsor a Child's School Day - Tierra Bomba

As we begin this new year, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and warmest wishes to you. May 2026 be a blessed year for you and your loved ones filled with health, peace, and renewed hope. We are deeply thankful to start this year alongside a community of donors whose generosity and compassion continue to transform lives. Your support has made it possible to create safe spaces, provide nourishment, and open doors of opportunity for children who need it most.

It is with great appreciation that we share an update on the impact you are helping make through our Sponsor a Child program in Tierra Bomba. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 18 children are now fully sponsored, receiving much more than access to school. These boys and girls attend a safe and nurturing educational center where they receive quality early education, a nutritious lunch and daily snack, being often the only reliable food they receive; psychosocial support, school supplies, preventive health services, and opportunities to participate in sports, arts, and creative activities that keep them protected and inspired.

Today, our educational center serves 200 children in total. While we celebrate the impact already achieved, 182 children are still waiting for sponsorship. For them, a sponsor represents stability, protection from the dangers of the streets, emotional support, and the chance to build strong foundations for learning, self-esteem, and personal growth.

Over the past months, donor support has allowed us to sustain daily nutritious meals for all children, ensuring they receive a lunch and a healthy snack each day—often their most consistent source of food—while strengthening learning through literacy reinforcement activities and promoting overall well-being for children and their families. Each contribution, whether full or partial sponsorship, has a direct and meaningful impact on a child’s present and future.

We remain committed to expanding this program so more children in Tierra Bomba can grow up in a safe environment, fall in love with learning, and envision a future filled with opportunity.
