In Mersin, southern Turkey, the orphaned girl Sara lives with her mother, who struggles to make ends meet after losing her husband during the tragic events in Syria. Their journey of displacement was not easy, carrying with it the pain of loss and deprivation. Sara’s mother is forced to work in hard labor for a meager wage just to provide for her daughter’s basic needs.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide a financial sponsorship for Sara, helping her family ease the harsh burdens of life and giving them reassurance that there are people extending a helping hand in their time of hardship.
Your contributions were not just financial aid, but a powerful humanitarian message that restores hope to a family who has lost its main source of support.
