In Kafrê village, located in the northern countryside of Aleppo, young Raed grows up carrying the pain of loss since he was only two years old.

The war took his father away, leaving him to face life with a struggling mother and an older sister. Despite all this hardship, the financial sponsorship became a bright window of hope in his difficult days.

• He bought medical eyeglasses, finally seeing clearly after suffering from weak vision.
• He purchased new clothing for himself, his mother, and his sister, bringing dignity and joy back into their home.
• He managed to secure food that sustained the family for several days, easing his mother’s burden and bringing safety and warmth to their small home in Kafrê.
