Dear Donor
In the harsh conditions of northern Syria, inside the displaced families’ camp in the village of Kafra, lives Lama, a young girl who has endured more pain than any child should. Lama lost her father in the former Syrian regime’s prisons, where he tragically died under torture, leaving behind a mother struggling to care for her children alone.
Lama lives with her mother and younger brother, Hazem, in a small tent that offers little protection from the cold, hunger, and uncertainty that define life in the camp. With no stable source of income and limited access to basic needs, the family faces constant hardship—especially during the winter months when food, clothing, and heating become even more difficult to secure.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide a financial sponsorship for Lama, giving her mother the means to purchase essential items and ensuring that the children’s most urgent needs are met. This support brought a sense of relief and dignity to a family that has gone through years of trauma and displacement.
Your continued contributions make a real difference in the lives of children like Lama—children who rely on compassionate individuals around the world to help them survive and rebuild their futures.
Thank you for your kindness, your humanity, and your commitment to helping vulnerable families in crisis. Together, we are bringing hope where it is needed most.
