In the narrow streets of the city of Azaz in northern Syria, young Basma lives with her mother under difficult living conditions left behind by years of conflict—without a provider and without any stable source of income. Basma lost her father several years ago, leaving her mother to shoulder the full responsibility of raising her children amid scarce resources and the absence of even the most basic sense of security.
Thanks to your ongoing generosity, we were able this month to provide a financial sponsorship for Basma, helping cover her essential needs such as food, clothing, and other basic necessities. This support has eased a significant burden on her mother and restored a measure of stability to their daily lives.
The impact of this sponsorship has been profound, giving Basma’s mother the ability to better provide for her daughter and offering reassurance that there are people who stand with them during these challenging times.
