As the economic crisis in Sri Lanka continues many in the country face food insecurity, high prices, income loss and unemployment.
For those facing cancer diagnosis, or other life-limiting illness, the crisis adds to the difficulties of accessing treatment. The crisis means that our partner organizations still face shortages of basic and essential medical supplies including medicine and surgical supplies.
Thanks to our generous donors, our partner organizations have the ability to obtain those necessary supplies. That means patients can receive the compassionate care and pain relief they need.
Thank you from all of us at Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration, our partner organizations in Sri Lanka, and the patients they care for!

We see the bravery, courage and resiliency of people living with cancer every day – in Sri Lanka this is made even more apparent with the continuing shortage of medical supplies.
Rithika has an abdominal cancer which was in need of urgent treatment. The surgery she needed required surgical supplies that she could not afford and also were unavailable in Sri Lanka at the time.
Through this emergency appeal, the hospital was able to acquire the necessary supplies for her treatment.
Thanks to our generous donors, patients like Rithika have access to the care and pain relief they need even as the economic crisis in Sri Lanka still burdens the availability of medicine and surgical supplies.
From palliative to curative care, our partner organizations put patients and families first providing care in hospitals, hospice and at home.
Thank you from all of us at Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration, our partner organizations, and the patients they care for!

Not all stories have happy endings. Yet without the support of generous donors like you, Sriyani would have suffered in great pain at her end-of-life.
During the social and economic crisis she was unable to access treatment for her thyroid cancer. When she did seek treatment her cancer had advanced and was incurable. Thankfully she was referred to CANE Hospice where she received compassionate end-of-life care including medications and pain relief that were provided through Two Worlds Cancer Collaborations’ emergency appeal.
Thanks to our generous donors, patients like Sriyani have access to the pain relief they need even as the economic crisis in Sri Lanka still affects the supply of medications for this type of compassionate care.
You are helping ease the suffering of those in need of such essential and compassionate care.
