Project update: Stand with Gevara-Give hope now
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has taken time to view and support Gevara’s story.
So far, the project has raised $20. While we are deeply grateful for this first gift, the amount raised has not yet allowed us to begin any of the planned milestones, including medical consultations, therapy sessions, or securing safe housing for Gevara and his mother.
Gevara, an 11-year-old boy from Nyanza District, continues to face challenges related to his spinal condition. Although he has made remarkable progress and is now able to walk, he still urgently needs physiotherapy, speech therapy, and specialized medical follow-up. His mother remains without stable housing and struggles to meet daily needs through casual labor.
The total funding needed to fully support Gevara’s medical care, shelter, and development for one year is $3,185. At this stage:
We remain hopeful. Every project begins with a first step, and this first contribution is meaningful. We continue to share Gevara’s story, trusting that more supporters will join us to help him access the care and stability he deserves.
Thank you for standing with Gevara. Your continued sharing and support can help turn this small beginning into life-changing impact.
