Build (8) STEM labs for rural Sri Lankan schools

Dear Donor,

Since the commencement of this project up to 31st December 2025, we have successfully supported the establishment of six computer labs in Sri Lanka. This achievement was made possible through the proceeds we received and the generous support extended locally by various organizations and individuals.

The following computer labs have been established:

Eriyathota Maha Vidyalaya (Kambutupitiya, Matara) – 12 Computers
Hambegamuwa Junior School (Hambegamuwa) – 8 Computers
Dharmapala Vidyalaya (Vavuniya) – 6 Computers
Balagolla Kanishta Vidyalaya (Kurunegala) – 8 Computers
Madawala Shri Wijayananda Vidyalaya (Boossa, Galle) – 6 Computers
Kalugalla Kanishta Vidyalaya – [Details forthcoming]

We have also received additional requests from schools, and we hope to raise funds to support these as well. The cost of setting up a computer lab varies by school, but currently it requires approximately Rs. 600,000 to establish an 8–10 computers in a lab in a remote area. The installation and wiring are carried out by dedicated volunteers free of charge who wish to remain anonymous.

The computers we purchase are reconditioned, and we also provide new chairs and tables to ensure a proper learning environment. We strive to keep costs to a minimum so that we can extend this support to as many schools as possible.
