As always we are so very grateful for your continued support and dedication to helping us provide ways to put Art into the standard STEM material in schools.
We have been booking residencies and performances right and left for the past few weeks. It is so exciting to see our calendar get fuller and fuller. Each time we block in another school or community program we KNOW that we are going to impact the students, teachers and parents. We are thrilled because we are changing the trajectory of these communities futures. Futures like this one:
Special note from Dasia, 4th Grade Student, Caldwell Middle School, Houma, LA:
“Hi Ms. Dianne... I think it’s because of you that I have made no lower than a B on any of my writing assignments. Also I'm in The Junior Beta Club at my school, so thank you for helping me in writing.”
This story and many others keep us going, shining a light on the potential of each person to reach their personal best and serve their community. They remind us to keep working with whole communities to not just have one workshop but to develop a comprehensive sustainable framework for learning that includes the arts.
