Teach Literacy through the Arts in DC, MD, and VA

As we get ready for another Giving Tuesday, this year we'd like to share with you a little bit about the inner workings - the inner guts, you might say - of our work here at Story Tapestries. Literacy, STEAM, Arts Integration - these fields have changed over the years. 

In the new year, we are getting ready to launch our new Virtual Classroom where we will be able to extend our programming directly to parents, kids, teachers in and out of the classroom.  A prime example of that is at the end of a program, handing a child a bookmark, a book to read, and a way to go online and play games to continue learning.   We've spent all these years sharing with you the stories of how we've impacted kids and adults.  We've realized it's time for us to unpack our process for you so you can see where your money goes.  Here's a snapshot of our Collaborative Project Process:
