Sometimes pictures say it all! This old, city bus got a brand new life as a coloful classroom with learning, lunch, fun games, arts and crafts and lots of emotional, social, and health care. If buses could smile, this one would!
This is how we bring hope to extremely vulnerable orphans, street kids, children who are abused or still work to support their families. Even a girl in a wheelchair. These are the lucky ones who get to thrive in this beautiful place of promise. As one girl put it: I learned from the Hope Bus that nothing is impossible!
With two Hope Buses that have already served approximately 500 children over recent years, we hope to launch Hope Bus #3 soon! Want to help the extremely vulnerable kids we serve? Here are two ways:
- Join us Saturday, September 18, for a virtual "Global In Their Shoes 5K" for Iraqi children! Sign up here and run/walk wherever you live!
- If you are not a monthly donor, sign up today to give as little as $10 - or as much as $200 - per month and get a free one-month match to help our beloved Iraqi orphans and vulnerable kids!
Please don't give up on these precious children. We won't! Thanks for your support and for being a part of our ICF family.
Best,
Cindy
