Dear Friend of Iraqi Children,
As we reflect on 2024, we’re proud to share that this has been our most impactful year yet thanks to supporters like you. Through your generosity, the Iraqi Children Foundation (ICF) expanded programs, deepened services, and reached more children than ever before across Baghdad, Mosul, and Fallujah.
One of the year’s most significant milestones was the growth of our disability clinic in Fallujah, where over 3,100 medical and psychosocial services were delivered to children, many of whom have no access to care otherwise. A mobile clinic was added this year, extending our reach to underserved communities, and plans are underway to open a new center in Basra in 2025.
Our Hope Bus program served over 36,000 nutritious meals and supported 152 children with daily education. Every child received new school supplies, summer and winter clothing, and psychosocial support when needed. For graduates living farther away, a new minibus now ensures over 50 children continue to access school safely.
In Mosul, our newly launched girls' center completed its first full year of operation, providing over 500 girls with psychosocial care and educational services. And across all locations, our legal team handled 633 cases, including representation for trafficking victims and children without documentation.
Stories like that of “Layla”, a young girl from Mosul who arrived withdrawn and traumatized, now thriving with the support of our psychosocial staff and teachers, remind us what your support makes possible.
From legal advocacy to daily nourishment, from school buses to trauma therapy, you are part of every life changed. Thank you for standing with Iraq’s vulnerable children and believing in their future.
