In India, Tamilnadu engage dalit Arunthathiyar as sanitary workers & daily wage worker for low wages. So their families face deep social stigma, untouchability and economic marginalization, which hardly impacts the education of their girl children and force them to child laborer, Child marriages and abuses. This project supports for 300 vulnerable girl higher education in engineering, medical and other professional studies to enhance their future and prevent from poverty and social exclusion
Girls from Dalit Arunthathiyar sanitary worker families face many challenges that stop them from higher education. They cannot afford college expenses due to poverty. Also social stigma around their parents' work can make life difficult and affect their confidence. So girls dropped out from schools work as child laborers or get early marriages. it force them to exploitation and abuses.
This project will help girls from sanitary worker families go to college and build a better future by providing scholarships for higher education expenses. We will run awareness programs to help girls and their families understand the importance of higher education. Mentors will guide the girls through their studies and help them stay confident. By giving this support, we can help these girls continue their education, avoid early marriage, abuses at work place. It ensure sbright future to them.
This project can change lives for years to come. Educated girls are more likely to get good jobs and earn a better income, helping their families escape poverty.
