Dear Our readers, after realising that deaf women can do well in the hair dressing and salon business, we decided to enroll more girls. This year we were able to enroll Alice. Alice is one of the girls who have benefited from one of our GlobalGiving project of educating girls with disabilities. She compeleted primary level last year, She did not join high school due to the fact that she could not manage it being from a government aided school with no Special Needs Teacher. We had a conversation with Alice and she accepted to join a government aided vocational training school for hair dressing and cosmetology. She joined in May 2025 and she will complete in May 2026. She will do her internship/school practice at the saloon of the girl you supported who is progressing well.
We owe you a huge thank you. We hope that with your support, we can also start a saloon business for Alice.
