Dear Readers, greetings from Mpigi Women with Disabilities Association (MPWDA). We have realised that when the deaf girls are trained in Hairdressing and Cosmetology, they can be able to work and prosper in life.
The deaf girls who are running a saloon business are able to communicate with their customers, work on them well and come back when they want to do other hair styles. It is a business which does not require alot of movement and communication can be easier with the deaf since the women they work on get used to them.
The other advantage is that those deaf girls who have established the saloon business are able to train other deaf and they easily learn from their peers. It is such a management business that a deaf woman can do and get profits from it
We are greatful for your support
