Nepal Is Surviving with your donations

By Chez | Program Coordinator

I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing today with immense gratitude and a heart full of stories to share. Thanks to your generous support, real and lasting change is taking root here in Nepal.

Over the past few months, your donation has helped us reach some of the most disadvantaged children and adults in our community. In places where opportunity is scarce, your kindness has opened doors and brought hope.

Together, we’ve helped 42 children stay in school—many of them walking miles each day to attend class. With their uniforms, school supplies, and daily meals covered, these kids can focus on learning, dreaming, and growing. Several are now topping their classes, proving that with just a little support, their potential is limitless.

You’ve also helped us train 17 women in tailoring and basic business skills. For women like Rita, a single mother of two, this training has been life-changing. After struggling for years to survive on odd jobs, she now has clients of her own and is saving to open a small stall at the market. She told us, “For the first time, I feel like I’m in control of my life.”

We’ve also continued delivering food parcels to families in need, particularly in rural and mountainous areas where jobs and services remain hard to access. These packages are a lifeline—especially for elderly people and families still recovering from past disasters.

What’s most inspiring is how your support creates not just individual change, but ripple effects throughout entire communities. Children who stay in school go on to inspire their siblings. Women who earn an income invest in their families and raise stronger, healthier children. And families who feel seen and supported begin to believe in a better tomorrow.

There is still so much to do. We’re dreaming bigger—expanding our programs, reaching further, and standing with more families who are ready to rise. But we need your help to get there.

If you’re able, please consider renewing your support. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us continue this vital work. More than that, it reminds our team and our community that they are not alone.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
