Namaste!
The United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals set out a vision to tackle the world’s biggest challenges by 2030. At our project in Nepal, we focus on these goals by building local, community-owned programs that make a real difference.
The past few years have tested all of us. Global pandemics, sudden government funding cuts, and other challenges have pushed more families back into poverty. In Nepal, we see the same struggles. People who were once supporters are now in need themselves. The path to the 2030 vision is not straight, but we refuse to let this slow us down.
When a problem feels too big, we break it down into manageable steps. That is exactly what we’re doing. We start with the basics, making sure children are fed so they can focus and learn. Education is the foundation for change. It builds awareness, nurtures future ambassadors for our planet, creates skilled workforces, and gives families the tools to overcome hunger and poverty. It all begins with a child in a classroom.
Over the last quarter, donations were slower than usual, but with careful planning we kept our programs thriving. Every child received daily meals, lessons in our eco-garden brought the classroom alive, and children are now inspired to grow their own food. With the help of a local volunteer, we introduced children’s yoga and recent English tests showed great improvement.
These children live in poverty. Many families cannot afford to send them to school or put a meal on the table every day. Your donations fund the food, weekend parcels, stationery, and school uniforms that allow every child to feel part of our community school. You made this possible. Thank you.
We are also thrilled to be part of the Action Change Impact Advent Calendar this year. By purchasing your calendar today, starting December 1st, you will be supporting 24 amazing projects like ours, spreading hope, care, and impact every day of the season. https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/advent-2025/
Thank you for being part of our school, our community, and our shared future.
Warm regards,
Chez
