A Decade of Community-Driven Change in Honduras!

By Jean Baumgardner | Board President

Celebrating 10 years with our community partners!
Celebrating 10 years with our community partners!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As we approach our tenth anniversary, we are filled with gratitude for each of you who has walked alongside The Solidarity Project. What began as a small collaboration rooted in partnership and trust has grown into a vibrant network of Honduran community leaders driving meaningful, lasting change.

2025 Highlights
This year, our work continued to focus on strengthening local leadership and expanding programs that respond to community priorities:

  • Sustainable Growth: New initiatives in women’s entrepreneurship, community driven projects, and our intern program continue to thrive under Honduran leadership.

  • Deepening Partnerships: Collaborations with local leaders, applifying our impact by partnering with other organizations, and support from people like you are helping us build a stronger foundation for long-term impact.

  • Community Ownership: Every project remains guided by the communities themselves—ensuring that change is lasting and truly theirs.

Join Us: A Decade of Solidarity
We invite you to celebrate with us at our 10-Year Virtual Party on Monday, November 17th from 7-8pm Central time—a moment to reflect, connect, and toast to all we’ve accomplished together. You’ll hear from our board and partners in Honduras, learn how your support has fueled transformation, and discover new ways to stay engaged in the decade ahead.

Looking Forward
The next chapter of The Solidarity Project is about deepening our roots and broadening our reach. With your continued partnership, we can keep building a model of development that’s led by Honduran communities and leaders, sustained by relationships, and grounded in solidarity.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Jean, Rosi, Marcela, Carolyn, David, & Melisa & The Solidarity Project Team
