Ikibuntu pursues people to be motivated by their work because it is aligned with their identity, talents, and sense of purpose. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Ikigai and the African philosophy of Ubuntu, we create and implement personal and professional development programs. We help each person discover who they are, what drives them, how they learn, what they need to learn, and how to put that at the service of others-so they can generate their own livelihood and build a fullfilling life.
In Argentina, millions live in a constant state of urgency-unemployed or stuck in jobs that don't reflect who they are or allow them to meet basic needs. The lack of opportunity blocks economic progress, damages self-esteem, motivation, and the sense of life purpose. Most current interventions focus only on emergency relief. But inequality cannot be solved by assistance alone: we need to create conditions for people to rediscover their value, strenghten their autonomy, and design a worthy life.
At Ikibuntu, we offer a transformational journey that combines self-knowledge, technical and emotional training, entrepreneurial support, and community building. We design and deliver both in-person and virtual programs that connect people with real opportunities for growth and employment. We also partner with businesses, governments, and educational institutions to connect participants with training, employment, and funding opportunities.
In over a year, +200 people have begun their journey with Ikibuntu. We've brought our workshops to vulnerable neighborhoods in Greater Buenos Aires, validated our methodology in the field, and started building partnerships with social organizations, businesses, and government actors. Our goal for 2025 is to accompany 1,000 people on their path to personal and professional transformation. When one life transforms, many others begin to change. Help people find their purpose, path, and voice.
