Dear Friend,
We want to share the story of Vardibai and Kalusingh, a couple from a small village in Rajsamand district. They have four children , two sons working in the city and two married daughters living with their in-laws.
For years, they grew maize and wheat in the traditional way. After getting training from Seva Mandir, they decided to try something new - growing marigold flowers on a small part of their land. They sold the flowers in the nearby Nathdwara market and made an agreement with buyers for regular sales.
In just one season, they earned Rs.50,000 from the flowers. With this money, they bought a pair of bullocks. Earlier, they had to hire a tractor for ploughing, which was expensive. Now, with their own bullocks, they can plough their fields easily and at less cost.
Seeing this success, they now plan to grow more flowers and vegetables in the future. They are happy and hopeful.
This change in their lives happened because your support. Your modest donation of just $100 will help 60 farmers receive training in advanced farming practices - giving many more families the chance to improve their income and build a better future.
Thank you for being part of their journey.
With gratitude,
Team Seva Mandir
