Two of our Study Aid scholars, Basma & Adnan, are now preparing to graduate, a milestone that marks not just the completion of their studies but also the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. Their journeys reflect the heart of what the Study Aid truly means: not just financial relief, but the stability, dignity, and encouragement needed to thrive during one of the most important stages of their lives. Both scholars have truly excelled.
Basma has won multiple awards, including Best Social Business Project, Best delegate of the year, Best Marketing Team, Best Research Paper titled “The Influence of Ethical Marketing on Generation Z’s Willingness to Pay More for Sustainable Products”, and Best Presentation.
Adnan, who strives to create a positive impact, successfully solved a long-standing challenge faced by the Student Affairs Department. Previously, hostel management relied on Excel sheets, which were time-consuming and inefficient. He developed and implemented a Hostel Management System that streamlined room allocation and maintenance requests—reducing manual administrative tasks by 50%. (Live demo:aiuhms.pro/home)
Their achievements, from research awards to impactful campus projects, are a testament to what is possible when students are given the chance to study with dignity and independence.
Most importantly, Basma and Adnan carry deep gratitude for those who made this support possible. Below is a message from them, written in their own words:
Basma shares:
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for walking with me throughout my bachelor’s degree. Your support has been more than financial—it gave me stability, encouragement, and hope. I sincerely wish that you continue to have the capacity to create pathways for students like me, who cannot return home, to find opportunities in Malaysia—whether through scholarships or employment.”
Adnan shares:
“From my heart, I sincerely thank the donors for making this support possible. Your kindness has reduced my financial burdens, supported my well-being, and given me the strength to continue my studies even in difficult times. I strongly believe in the importance of giving back, and one day I’m willing to support the community and help learners, just as Albukhary Foundation, Fugee, and Palestinian Progressive Association Malaysia have supported and changed my life.”
Now, as they transition into the workforce, Basma and Adnan carry with them not just degrees, but resilience, confidence, and hope, all qualities strengthened by the generosity of donors who believed in their potential.
