Happy New Year from the Safal MRM Foundation. As we step into 2026, we are grateful to reflect on the impact made possible through your support on GlobalGiving throughout 2025.

Through Mabati Medical Centre, the Safal MRM Foundation continued expanding access to affordable and reliable healthcare for families in Kenya, Kilifi County and beyond. Over the course of 2025, the facility provided 36,738 curative medical consultations and conducted 18,942 diagnostic services, supporting early detection, treatment, and continuity of care for thousands of households.

 Key Health Interventions in 2025

The Adolescent and Youth Friendly Clinic supported over 3,000 young people, offering mental health support, sexual and reproductive health education, and safe spaces for dialogue. Preventive health programs also reached truck drivers and working populations, focusing on obesity, lifestyle diseases, and wellness.

Medical Camps, Outreaches & Awareness Campaigns

Throughout the year, community-based outreaches strengthened prevention and early care:

  • Men’s Health Month: 749 men engaged in mental health discussions, with 36 undergoing prostate screenings
  • Children’s Dental Health Awareness: 3,200 learners reached in Kajiwe and Mwareni
  • Cervical Cancer Awareness: 950 women reached through education on prevention and early detection
  • Eye Camps with Lions Club of Mombasa Pwani: 257 patients served and 16 cataract surgeries supported
  • Annual Mega Medical Camp: 1,692 patients served in one day, including 42 cataract surgeries

Major Outreach: Oloika Medical Camp: Kajiado County in August

One of the year’s most significant milestones was the two-day free medical camp and humanitarian outreach in Oloika Village.

  • 2,242 community members accessed medical services and 2,000 households received food hampers. Services included general consultations, mother and child health care, oral health, eye screenings, and cervical cancer screening and education.

 Specialized & Continuing Care

To mark World AIDS Day, a health education seminar was held in partnership with Stawisha Pwani, supporting community members living with HIV through information, care linkage, and psychosocial support.

This January 2026, to mark Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, Mabati Medical Centre is providing health education, free cervical cancer screening, and free HPV vaccination for girls aged 10 years, promoting early detection and prevention

As we move into 2026, the need for affordable and accessible healthcare remains urgent. Continued support will allow us to sustain essential services, expand community outreaches, strengthen youth-friendly clinic, preventive care, and respond to emerging health needs. Your continuous donation through GlobalGiving will help us reach more households, deliver timely care, and ensure no family is left behind.

Thank You!

Your generosity continues to make quality healthcare accessible, dignified, and community-centered. Thank you for standing with us and for being part of the impact we carry forward into 2026.

 With gratitude,

The Safal MRM Foundation
