Hello from EIM Haiti. It’s the summer, which means it’s exam season. And while we did things a bit differently this year, we’re still going strong.
Given the continued violence and instability Haiti has endured in recent months and the closing of the international airport this past spring — we were sadly not able to bring any international volunteers to Haiti this year for our annual review season.
That said, given all the investment we’ve put into our school’s technology and high speed WiFi, we were proud to host another hybrid season and it was a huge success. Our incredible teachers gave the written exams, while key members of our international team held listening and speaking sessions via WhatsApp. We had a great turnout and a much higher pass rate than last year — huge kudos to all our students and staf!
Despite all the uncertainty, we remain optimistic for our 2025-26 school year. We can't emphasize enough that EIM is not going anywhere. We're passionate about the work we're doing and are committed for the long run. As always, thank you for your unwavering support of the best little school in the world.
