By Fondo de Mujeres del Sur | In close collaboration with the activists
We invite you to read this story featuring Margarita and Aché girls and adolescents from the Canindeyú department, in the heart of Paraguay.
Margarita learned to sing with her grandparents in the forest. When she was just 4 years old, she was kidnapped and sold as a domestic servant, a criada. She survived the Aché genocide* and criadazgo** and today she provides support in her community to girls and adolescents who seek to transform inequality conditions playing soccer.
At Fondo de Mujeres del Sur, we work to advance the rights of women in all their diversity. We invite you to join us this month to strengthen the work of women who are leading change.
Between July 16 and July 17, all donations of $100 will receive an additional contribution from our partner, GlobalGiving.
With your donation, you can strengthen these networks so that more organisations can continue with their work. Join the campaign to strengthen the networks that keep us Together, Stronger and Alive!!
