Supporting Small Business by Poor Entrepreneurs

Thank you very much for your donation to our project supporting small business by poor entrepreneurs. We are happy to inform you that we have scaled-up our support by adding 2 more villages as our project areas from an original of 5 villages. We have selected remote village as our areas because support to these villages are difficult to come by because roads are not well-built and it is so much trouble going there. This reporting period we are able to provide individualized support to 30 entrepreneurs by providing them small loans, training and technical assistance and small farm inputs. We focus also on farm inputs because most of our beneficiaries are farmers and farming inputs are very much needed by them. Hoping for your continuing assistance. Thank you very much.

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your donation to our project supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. We continue to provide much-needed support in terms of increasing the knowledge and capabilities of poor entrepreneurs so that their business will grow. Most often business by poor entrepreneurs fail because of many reasons and mismanagement is always one of these reasons. Our training is designed for those with low formal education in that more practical exercises are done. In this case we use modules coming from experts in the field of adult education. We are trying to generate capital that we can use to lend to our beneficiaries on a socialized credit scheme and we hope we will be successful in this goal. Local loan scheme are complex and difficult by our beneficiaries and there is a need for a more simple one. We were able to engage 20 entrepreneurs during this period and we hope to increase the number as we implement this initiative. Again thank you very much for your help.
