Introduction
As our primary source of funding relies heavily on donations, we have been operating on a constrained budget. Recently, the flow of donations has been slower than usual, creating a pressing need for additional funds. Our mission is to transform the lives of children of all ages, rescuing them from the streets and integrating them into a community organisation that fosters change.
We provide these children with a safe place to live and engage in various activities such as dancing, schooling, sports, and more, all aimed at promoting their holistic development. However, our current resources are strained and we are in dire need of funds to ensure we can continue to provide food for these children.
Our ultimate goal is to build a creative hub within the neighbourhood. This space will serve as a sanctuary where children can come together to learn, grow, and feel secure. Your support can make a significant difference in achieving this vision and continuing our vital work.
Report
The harsh reality of street life is a burden that no child should bear. Many of the children we meet, whether at our doorstep or during our outreach efforts, express a strong desire for education and a stable home. Regrettably, due to a recent slowdown in donations, we are unable to fully support all these children in need.
Our dedicated staff frequently encounters children as young as six years old who have already been exposed to drugs. This is a heartbreaking situation that we strive to change every day. However, the scarcity of funds is becoming a significant obstacle.
Currently, our project spends $100 daily to provide one hot meal for 40 children. While this is a step in the right direction, it’s clear that more needs to be done. The issue of slow donations is not just affecting our ability to provide for these children, but it’s also hindering our efforts to pull them out of the cycle of street life.
We urge everyone to consider the impact of their contributions. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in these children’s lives.
