Uplift and Empower 5,000 Street Youth in Uganda

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for believing in our mission to uplift and empower 5,000 street-connected youth in Uganda. With your continued support, we’ve been able to bring small yet meaningful change to the lives of children who face daily hardship, exploitation, and survival on the streets.

Over the past few months, we’ve continued to provide shelter, nutritious meals, education support, life skills training, and mentorship. Many of these children have fled domestic violence, poverty, or conflict, and now find themselves struggling in the harsh realities of street life. Yet through your donations, we’ve been able to offer them safety, dignity, and a second chance.

We’re especially proud of our team leader—a young man who once lived on the streets himself—who continues to be a source of hope and inspiration. His story shows our youth that change is not only possible, but within reach.

Thanks to your generosity, recent achievements include:

• Reuniting several youth with their extended families where safe and possible

• Hosting regular group counselling and mentoring sessions

• Supplying hygiene kits and basic medical care to those in our shelter

• Organizing dance, music, and sports activities to help children express themselves and heal

What’s next?
We are now working towards creating a permanent Creative Skills Center, where youth can access vocational training, literacy classes, and psychosocial support. This center will become a long-term safe space for youth to develop, build confidence, and plan for the future.

However, we continue to face challenges. Funding is tight, and demand is overwhelming. We currently operate with minimal resources and a team that stretches beyond their limits every day. Your help is still urgently needed.

• $20 provides food and hygiene support for one child for a week

• $50 covers school supplies and mentorship for one child

• $200 supports outreach and emergency rescues for a month

• $500 helps us move closer to launching our Creative Skills Center
