Hi friends,
It’s been a quiet few months for donations, and I want to be completely honest about where things stand. Funding has been tight, which means some of the progress we’d hoped to make has slowed, and reaching all the children we want to support has been a real challenge. But even with these hurdles, our team has been out there every day, meeting children living on the streets, offering meals, support, and just being present.
We’ve kept up small sessions of art, music, and sport — simple things, but they bring a bit of joy, a bit of normalcy, and a little hope to kids who often have very little of either. Planning for a bigger, dedicated centre where children can learn, create, and feel safe is still very much on our minds, and it’s a goal we’re working toward step by step. It’s slow, and it’s challenging, but we’re not giving up.
The reality is that the need is huge, and resources are limited. Every decision about who to reach and how to support them is difficult, because we wish we could do more. But even small steps matter. Every meal served, every moment of attention, every safe space we can provide makes a real difference.
If you’re able to help, even in a small way, it makes a big difference. Donations go directly to providing meals, shelter, and support for the children living on the streets, and sharing our story helps us reach more people who care.
Thank you for being part of this journey, for believing in these kids, and for helping us keep hope alive. It’s not easy work, and it doesn’t always move as fast as we’d like, but together we’re making a real difference, one child at a time.
With gratitude,
