The legalisation of our two primary schools is going well and paperwork is still with the relevant authorities. Hopefully, this will be completed soon and the doors will be open to our very own schools in Nicaragua in 2013.
With our original aims being to add to our five local teachers, we are happy to report we now employ seven local teachers in our legal pre-schools and primary school in the two rural communities we work in round Esteli. This is great news and will provide countless benefits to the students in the communities, hopefully by improving their grades even more, and to provide more one-to-one attention.
Donations are of paramount importance to keep these local teachers employed and so we are very grateful to our donors who continue to support the projects and help us to give an excellent education to the 200 children we teach every day.
Thank you
