During 2017 we were able to implement many of our sustainable plans for the future. It is hoped that during 2018 we can double our plans across Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador and Perú. The sustainable plans are key to the success and durability of the pjects in the future and we have to start now, investing in the future.
This year we aim to add many cows to the Plan Moo herd in Guatemala. Production in Plan Café in Honduras should double, as well as adding more vegetable gardens, chickens and fish to the plans already in place. Our herd in Ecuador needs to be added to as more children are graduating from primary school and we still have to come up with a sustainable plan in the deserts of Perú!
One of our biggest targets for the year is to start implementing sustainable ways so the children and their families can provide food for themselves and in the schools. For years we have provided food programs in Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador and Perú and we aim to add to this with family sustainable plans. This will include creating community vegetable garden, planting fruit trees and avocados for annual produce and also medicinal plants to help with those everyday aches and pains!
Thanks to your brilliant donations we were able to make a dent in the plans last year and with continued help 2018 will be even better.
