Dear Donors,

In our last report, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary by annoucing the launch of the Project Maji documentary; "Drop by Drop - The Ripple Effect of Change". More than just a heartfelt and commerative look at our work, we realised we had a powerful storytelling device on our hands. Equipped with the documentary, Project Maji has embarked on a screening tour. So far, we have held events in Geneva, London, and Nairobi, where invited guests could watch our story unfold, ask questions, and learn about how their donations and support directly contribute to our mission. We're excited for upcoming screenings in Dubai, the Hague, and the multi-city American tour starting soon.

Why does this matter?

The majority of our donors do not get a chance to witness our operations and speak to our communities in person. As our way of thanking all of you for your contributions through the years, we have found a way for our supporters to view the impact of the work we have done together.

Additionally, our documentary screenings allow us to spread the word about the water crisis and our solutions to a wide and curious audience. We have been fortunate enough to inspire donations during our screenings, which go directly to building new water access points for more communities in Ghana and Kenya.

If you have not had a chance to attend a screening, we invite you to watch here (use promo code 10YEARS for free access).

Thanks to you, in the past few months we have:

  • Surpassed 450 active water access points across Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda
  • Pumped and distributed 13 million litres of safe water
  • Built 48 new access points

Every drop of water, every life changed — it’s all made possible by your generosity.

Thank you for being part of the Project Maji journey. Together, we’re building a future where every community has access to safe, sustainable water.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Your Friends at Project Maji
