INDIGENOUS CHILDREN DEFEND MOTHER EARTH
Children from the indigenous communities of San Andrés de Sotavento (Colombia) have learned through our processes not only to love themselves but also to love Mother Earth. They have learned to love waters, forests, soils, plants, and animals, and to understand that we are all part of the unity of creation. We have a common home, our planet, and if we don't take care of it, we will lose it and our own lives as well.
Just as children have learned to say NO to all types of abuse that adults want to commit against them, they must likewise say NO to companies and people who want to destroy the environment with their practices.
If we want to sow peace in Colombia, children must build peace with our Mother Earth.
