For this year, we are taking a break from new foster placements, but have maintained relationships with our former foster children.
Butsaba and Jay's foster son is studying to be an electrician and is in th 10th grade. They still visit him frequently since their daughter has a close bond with him.
Heather's foster daughter who cut off contact back in February has reached out and reconnected. She is not in school, but has a job at 7-11 and Heather helped her get into her own studio apartment and has been assisting with her health issues. We are very happy that she has chosen to seek out relationship with Heather as a healhty adult who can help her navigate early adulthood.
Thank you for your support for this project and we look forward to helping more teens on their transition to adulthood in the future.
