Dear Patron,
We bring to you our latest report on “This monsoon provide safety to the slum dwellers”
Slum housing in India presents a significant urban challenge characterized by overcrowded, substandard housing, and a lack of basic amenities like clean water and sanitation. These slum dwellers are the worst affected when there are heavy rains and winds. The makeshift roof is not strong enough to withhold these harsh weathers. The condition of these poor slum dwellers leads to health risks and environmental challenges.
At El Shaddai Charitable Trust we provide hope for improved living conditions and opportunities for a better future by distributing Tarpaulin Sheets to the slum dwellers. Our outreach workers reach out to the people living in slum areas of north and south Goa. These tarpaulin sheets will provide them and their family protection from environmental hazards.
We have a beautiful heart touching story of a boy who reached out to us when he got to know that we were distributing these sheets for the rains. With his little tiny feet, he came running to us to tell that his make shift house had collapsed with the strong pre monsoon showers and he took us to his place. We were shocked at seeing their condition and helped them to set up their place once again. The little boy was so happy and we also enrolled him in our school and feeding programme.
We can help all such communities only with your constant support and love. We extend our gratitude for helping us to transform lives of the underprivileged communities and providing dignity and hope towards a better and brighter future.
"Together, we can transform our struggles into strength”
With Gratitude
Sincerely
El Shaddai Family
