Stories from Malaika: The Journey Toward Independe

By Giulia Leone | Project Leader

A new academic year has begun at Malaika, marking a historic milestone. We are incredibly proud of our first group of young adults as they step into the world of higher education and employment.

Each of them has chosen a path aligned with their own aspirations: a future nurse, an aspiring social worker, a university student in Cyber Security, and a beautician who has already begun her professional career.

Through our “Towards Independence” project, these young men and women now live autonomously within the community, while still being able to count on Malaika’s ongoing support. Seeing them manage their own responsibilities and build their futures with such determination is the most tangible result of their journey into adulthood.

This new chapter is only possible thanks to your constant support. Your impact is profound: together, we are laying the foundation upon which these young people are building their lives.

We invite you to consider ongoing support for Malaika. Even a small, regular contribution makes a huge difference, ensuring the stability and continuity of our programs.
