Project Report | Nov 8, 2011
Radha is Data entry operator.

By Vincent paul | Director

Hi,

Radha, aged 23 is from a poor family. Her family situation compelled her to stop education after +2.

She decided to help her family by going to work. But she could not get a decent job  in a office or elsewhere.

Because of her parents poor condition and sickness, She decided to go and working in a Embroidery unit run by a private owner, where she took an advance amount of INR.20,000/= to give treatment to her parents. She has been working there for 10- 12 hours a day for the past three years to repay the amount with interest, till Nov, 2010.

In April, 2011 she approached our computer training center and got free D.T.P. training for 3 months. After training she took bank loan of INR.25,000/= and purchased a computer and started her own Data entry job. Now she is earning an average of INR 300/= per day. Now she is confident enough to further to start a Browsing center soon.

Now we are using her as a model for our women and currently we engaged her to motivate other women in nearby villages, during which she talks of her own experience and the sources of her success.

This success has allowed her to sustain her family, which comprises 4  members, to give treatment to her parents and to send her 2  brothers to school. Like Radha, there are many were succeeded through our skills development programme.

Now we are happy to inform you that CHHASE computer education has obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certificate to provide a quality and valued education to the poor.

This will not be possible without the support of you.  Thank you very much to all the donors who have supported us for rural women.
